The owner of Signature-Lux, Chris Dougan, built his own home on a five-acre lot with the vision of creating a permanent stay-cation. The details throughout this home showcase the Signature mark of a family who love a laid-back cottage life without the compromise of beauty and luxury.
The overhang of the unique front entry required custom metal machinery to create the curvature in the steel matching the home’s roof.
The front entry enclosed by the overhang raises the bar in welcoming guests with contemporary details designed into the front door, lighting and landscaping.
The main floor of the home offers 2450 square feet of living space with no limitations on luxury and design. This open-concept home connects the living room and kitchen and also features a home office, the master bedroom with ensuite, and a granny suite.
Signature marks include:
- 12’ and 18’ high ceilings
- Round edging on windows
- Unique architectural ceilings with ambient lighting
- No baseboards with floors built into walls
- Maple and glass stairways
- Porcelain tile (ICF maintains floor warmth)
- Custom security system with cameras accessible anywhere in the world
- 28 speakers throughout the home for audio streaming
- Matrix sound system offering remote Bluetooth connectivity and no visible wiring
